You may have noticed that I am not supplying a Magellan version of Northwest Trails with this new release of of the mapset.  Despite my previous post saying that I would be able to start doing so, I ran into continued headaches trying to get things compiled for Magellan this time around.  The breaking point was with generation of the maps for the Explorist.  The ancient tools that have been essentially hacked to allow for map creation on the units would crash with just about any change I made to the map design. Since I have had limited response to the mapset from Magellan owners and would have to seriously compromise the quality and appearance of the mapset to get it to work on Magellans, it just doesn’t seem worthwhile to pursue it any further.
